Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi privately floated a proposal to restore nuclear inspectors’ access to sites damaged in strikes in exchange for sanctions relief, Bloomberg reports.

Araghchi raised the idea in meetings with European and Middle Eastern diplomats on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly in New York.
The proposal could offer a possible route out of the current deadlock in U.S.-Iran talks, though no agreement has been announced.
Bloomberg says the discussions were informal and the terms remain under consideration.
