Israel could join the investigation into the Flydubai cockpit attack, with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu saying Israeli authorities intend to follow the case closely.

Speaking to Fox News, Netanyahu said the suspected attacker is currently being questioned in Saudi Arabia and may later be transferred to the UAE, where the flight originated.
“We’ll be following and possibly also participating in this investigation,” he said.
Netanyahu also said it was still too early to determine whether Iran had any role in the incident. The suspect’s motive has not yet been established publicly.
