North Korea says it tested an AI-enabled intermediate-range missile capable of changing trajectory at low altitude and using multiple flight modes

Eastora News·

Reuters reported that Kim Jong Un personally oversaw the test, while Kim Yo Jong said South Korea and Japan had failed to fully track the missile and claimed “there is no way to avoid this attack.”

She also said the missile can operate in at least four trajectory modes and that other countries remain years away from comparable technology.

South Korea’s military said the missile was launched from the Wonsan area toward the sea off North Korea’s east coast and flew more than 700 kilometers.
