Israel to close West Bank and Gaza crossings on October 5 and 7 during commemorations marking the October 7 attack

Israel will impose a general closure on West Bank crossings and shut crossings into the Gaza Strip on October 5 and October 7, according to COGAT.
In the West Bank, passage will generally be restricted, with exceptions for humanitarian and medical cases, essential healthcare workers and certain other approved crossings.
Gaza crossings will also be closed on both days, temporarily halting the entry of new humanitarian aid.
COGAT said aid already transferred through the Kerem Shalom crossing would still be collected from the Gaza side as usual.
