Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan said the global space race should not become a competition restricted to only a handful of countries.
“Space is not a prize to be seized by whoever gets there first,” Erdoğan said during the International Astronautical Congress in Antalya.
He also opposed the militarization of space, saying that turning it into an arena for an arms race would be “profoundly wrong.”
