U.S. official says around 200 American advisers are supporting Saudi planning and targeting operations against the Houthis

Eastora News·

Around 200 U.S. military advisers are providing support at Saudi planning centers, an American official told Al Jazeera.

The official said U.S. personnel are helping Saudi forces conduct targeting operations and that Riyadh is using American refueling capabilities to defend its airspace and support forces fighting the Houthis.

The official said U.S. forces are not directly involved in the war in Yemen and that Washington has no specific targets inside the country.
