Pezeshkian says negotiations with the U.S. are meaningless while Washington continues pressure, threats and sanctions

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian said Tehran’s problem with the United States is that each time the two sides come to the negotiating table, Iran is subsequently confronted with war.
He said negotiations are meaningless with an adversary that, in his words, carries out assassinations, imposes sanctions and pressure, makes threats and breaks its commitments.
Pezeshkian added that the Iranian public does not accept such an approach.
