UK police arrest seventh suspect in investigation into alleged RAF Fairford terror plot

Eastora News·

British counter-terrorism police arrested a 22-year-old British man in Westminster, London, on suspicion of preparing terrorist acts linked to an alleged plot involving RAF Fairford, a base used by U.S. bombers during operations against Iran.

Six other men in their 20s, including a dual British-Iranian national, were previously arrested and later released on bail as the investigation continues.

The case has drawn attention after U.S. officials said concerns over a possible Iran-linked threat prompted the withdrawal of B-1 bombers from Fairford. Iran has denied involvement.
