63% of Israeli troops and security personnel wounded since October 2023 suffer psychological effects, Defense Ministry says

Israel’s Defense Ministry says around 30,000 wounded soldiers and security personnel have entered its Rehabilitation Department since October 2023, with 63% experiencing psychological effects including PTSD, anxiety and depression.
The department currently treats 91,200 people injured across Israel’s wars and security operations, including 42,500 with mental health conditions and post-traumatic stress.
