The report comes after Syrian President Ahmad al-Sharaa met Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman in Riyadh on Tuesday.

Saudi and Syrian accounts of the meeting said the two leaders discussed bilateral cooperation and regional developments, without publicly announcing any Syrian role in Yemen.
