Iranian tanker attacks threaten fragile rebound in oil exports through Strait of Hormuz

Nearly 20 commercial vessels, mostly tankers, have been attacked over the past month in the Strait of Hormuz, the Persian Gulf and off Oman, according to the Joint Maritime Information Center.
The attacks come as Gulf oil exports recover, while President Donald Trump has temporarily expanded access to tax-exempt red-dyed diesel in the U.S. to ease high fuel costs.
