Reuters: Hezbollah received $200 million from Iran to aid war-displaced Lebanese families, with 20% transfer fees and $3,000 initial payments planned
Middle East
Hezbollah received the funds last month despite tighter U.S. economic pressure on Iran and growing difficulties moving money to the group, according to people with direct knowledge of the transfer.
Intermediaries charged a 20% fee, while Hezbollah plans to prioritize about 50,000 families from villages that were destroyed or remain inaccessible, Reuters reported.
