Reuters: Türkiye is providing Saudi Arabia with mainly defensive military support against Houthi attacks, including equipment, intelligence and technical assistance

Eastora News·

Two officials told Reuters that Türkiye’s support currently includes military equipment, intelligence sharing, air-defense systems, drone operators, strategic planning and logistics.

Ankara has not deployed combat forces under the new Mecca Joint Defence Agreement, which Türkiye signed with Saudi Arabia and Pakistan in August and has not yet ratified in parliament.

The three countries agreed this week to begin implementing the pact, under which an armed attack on one member is treated as an attack on all.
