Assistant Attorney General Harmeet Dhillon said countries taking measures against Israeli settlements risk “retaliatory or corresponding sanctions” from the United States while President Donald Trump is in office.
Dhillon described such measures as part of the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions movement and called BDS a form of antisemitism.
The UK, France and several other countries announced or backed restrictions on trade with Israeli settlements in the occupied West Bank in September.
