Study finds 50 European Parliament members targeted by AI-generated sexual deepfakes

Germany-based Agora Digitale Transformation found that 50 MEPs — 46 women and four men — were depicted in or associated with websites facilitating non-consensual AI-generated sexual imagery, equivalent to roughly one in six female MEPs.
The findings come ahead of an EU ban, taking effect Dec. 2, on AI systems that generate or manipulate realistic intimate images of identifiable people without their consent.
