Axios: Pentagon orders CENTCOM to finalize preparations for possible major strikes on Iran, but Trump has not made a final decision or set a date

Eastora News·

U.S. officials told Axios that the Pentagon has instructed U.S. Central Command to complete preparations for potentially resuming large-scale combat operations against Iran.

Trump has not approved an attack or set a timetable, but U.S. and Israeli sources say strikes could come before the November midterm elections. A renewed campaign could include extensive U.S. and Israeli attacks on Iranian nuclear facilities, energy infrastructure and other strategic targets, while Trump has spoken twice with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in recent days.
