CRS: U.S. military has lost or damaged 81 aircraft in Iran war worth up to $3.3 billion, with MQ-9 Reapers accounting for more than half

A Congressional Research Service report says 81 U.S. military aircraft, helicopters and drones have been destroyed or damaged since the war with Iran began, with replacement costs estimated at $1.9 billion to $3.3 billion.
The list includes 45 MQ-9 Reaper drones, up to 12 F-15E Strike Eagles, an F-35A fighter and an E-3 Sentry surveillance aircraft. The overall cost of U.S. military operations has reached about $43.6 billion, excluding some damage to regional bases.
