Gold-covered nude Trump statue goes on display inside European Parliament, depicting him as the “King of Injustice”

Eastora News·

A 2.6-meter satirical sculpture of U.S. President Donald Trump has gone on display inside the European Parliament in Strasbourg, depicting him nude and seated on the shoulders of a smaller, frail man.

Created by Danish artist Jens Galschiøt and covered in 23-karat gold leaf, “The Orange Plague” shows Trump holding a golf club and scales of justice. An inscription beneath the sculpture portrays the “King of Injustice” promising to help the man carrying him — except by getting off his back.

Galschiøt said the work was inspired by Hans Christian Andersen’s “The Emperor’s New Clothes.” The sculpture was previously displayed at COP30 and the Munich Security Conference.
