The Gulf Cooperation Council called for a “firm and deterrent” international response to Houthi attacks on Saudi Arabia, saying its six member states stand united with the kingdom against threats to its security, stability and sovereignty.
The statement followed attacks on Abha International Airport and King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh on Tuesday and Wednesday. Saudi aviation authorities said three people were killed and 36 others injured.
