Iran nuclear chief says Tehran will not abandon uranium enrichment or hand over its enriched uranium

Mohammad Eslami, head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran, said Thursday that Tehran would not give up uranium enrichment or hand over its enriched uranium.

“Enrichment is an inseparable part of the nuclear process,” Eslami said, dismissing renewed U.S. threats against Iran’s nuclear facilities as “nothing new.”
