Lufthansa and Air India suspend Riyadh flights after Houthi attacks disrupt operations at Saudi capital’s airport

Lufthansa Group and Air India have suspended flights to Riyadh after renewed Houthi attacks and threats against aviation in Saudi Arabia disrupted operations at King Khalid International Airport.

Lufthansa Group said its Riyadh services would remain suspended through October 16, while Air India halted flights to and from the Saudi capital through October 10. Numerous other international flights were also canceled on Thursday as security concerns disrupted airport operations.
