Putin tells Pezeshkian Russia will “do everything” it can to help end the Iran war

Eastora News·

Russian President Vladimir Putin told his Iranian counterpart Masoud Pezeshkian on Thursday that Moscow was ready to do everything within its power to help bring the war to an end.

“We are ready to do everything that is in our power to contribute to the settlement of this situation,” Putin said during their meeting in Turkmenistan. He added that Iran had made “real efforts to end the war” since U.S.-Israeli attacks began on February 28.

Putin also pointed to what he described as the “positive evolution” of relations between Russia and Iran. The two leaders met in the Caspian resort of Avaza ahead of regional summits in Turkmenistan.
