South Korea has decided to recall its ambassador to Ukraine amid a diplomatic dispute over President Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s public disclosure that two North Korean prisoners of war had been transferred to Seoul.
Seoul says the two countries had agreed to keep the transfer confidential and has demanded an official explanation and apology from Kyiv. Ukraine has disputed South Korea’s account of the confidentiality agreement.
