Trump says U.S. will not attack Iran before November 3 midterms as “productive discussions” with Tehran continue

Eastora News·

U.S. President Donald Trump said Thursday that Washington is having “productive discussions” with Iran and will not attack the country before the November 3 midterm elections.

Trump said the U.S. blockade of Iran would remain “in full force and effect” and claimed 22 million barrels of oil passed through the Strait of Hormuz overnight, with none coming from or going to Iran.

He also described Iran as being in “very bad condition” economically and militarily and reiterated that Tehran would not be allowed to obtain a nuclear weapon.
