Trump selects conservative commentator Katie Zacharia to replace Karoline Leavitt as White House press secretary

Eastora News·

President Donald Trump has selected conservative commentator Katie Zacharia as his next White House press secretary, according to multiple reports citing White House officials. Zacharia has been offered the position, though the White House has not yet confirmed whether she has formally accepted it.

Zacharia currently serves as a senior communications adviser at Trump Media & Technology Group and previously worked briefly as a spokesperson at the Department of Homeland Security. She has also appeared regularly as a commentator on Fox News and Newsmax.

The position has been vacant since Karoline Leavitt left the White House at the end of August to spend more time with her family. Leavitt, the first press secretary of Trump’s second term, remains an outside adviser to the president.
