Riyadh hospital receives about 50 injured after airport attack, while other facilities take casualties and major hospitals activate disaster plans

Eastora News·

A hospital near King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh received about 50 people injured in Saturday’s attack, the Financial Times reported, with some patients in critical condition.

Other medical facilities were also admitting casualties, and major hospitals across the Saudi capital activated disaster protocols in response.

Saudi Arabia’s civil aviation authority said the airport was attacked on Saturday, October 10, and temporarily suspended operations while officials assessed damage and checked facility safety. The authority said the number of injured people was still being determined.
