Trump says U.S. deserved Nobel Peace Prize, calls decision an “indelible stain” on Norway

Eastora News·

Donald Trump said Iran would either give the United States “everything” or “no longer exist,” while portraying himself as responsible for preventing wars and renewing his criticism of Norway over the Nobel Peace Prize.

He said he had resolved eight wars and was close to settling or winning two more: the conflicts involving Iran and Russia and Ukraine. Trump also said he had repeatedly prevented wars between North and South Korea, Japan and North Korea, and China and Taiwan, as well as at numerous other flashpoints, arguing that the United States had avoided being drawn into those conflicts because of him.

Trump said Russian President Vladimir Putin had told him he spent 10 years trying unsuccessfully to resolve the conflict between Azerbaijan and Armenia, while Trump said he had settled it in two days.

On the Nobel Peace Prize, Trump said it had gone to someone he had never heard of and whom he described as a mysterious person, adding that nobody had heard of the recipient. He said the United States, represented by him as president, should have received the prize based on his peace record, which he called unprecedented.

Trump called the Nobel decision an “indelible stain” on Norway and said the prize had been discredited by “radical ideologues” he described as anti-democratic and enemies of civilization. He said the United States would not forget the decision and argued that Norway and others were taking advantage of the country by not awarding it the prize.

On domestic issues, Trump blamed Joe Biden and Democrats for inflation and high prices, saying he and congressional Republicans were working to fix the situation. He also urged listeners to act as though he were on the ballot and said he had a very high IQ.

Trump said Russia had agreed to send the United States “millions and millions” of barrels of oil, which he described as diesel, and thanked Putin. He said more oil was passing through the Strait than before the war and urged refineries and retailers to start cutting prices, saying the United States was supplying them with ample oil.

He also said the Earth was beginning to cool and that icebergs were larger than ever. Trump argued that although China builds wind turbines, it has no wind farms.

Discussing France, Trump recounted threatening tariffs to force President Emmanuel Macron to raise medicine prices in the country.

Trump said he had “got Greenland” and that the United States had obtained it for zero. On Venezuela, he said the spoils belonged to the victor, that the United States was taking out billions of dollars every day, and that the country deserved it.
