The U.S. Embassy in Riyadh said it was aware of attacks on King Khalid International Airport on Saturday and advised U.S. citizens to stay away from the airport and surrounding areas.
The warning came as the airport was reported attacked again and evacuated, with air traffic halted, according to regional officials cited by The Associated Press.
The airport was also targeted on Thursday. Saudi Arabia’s General Authority of Civil Aviation said three Saudi citizens, including an airline pilot, were killed in attacks on airport facilities and a Saudia aircraft.
