Houthis renew warning that Saudi airports and airspace are “vulnerable to attack,” exempting Mecca and Medina and holding Riyadh responsible for failed interceptions

Yemen’s Houthi movement renewed its warning on Sunday to airlines, aviation personnel and travelers against using Saudi airports and airspace, describing them as potential military targets while exempting airports in Mecca and Medina.
The group urged airlines and passengers to take the warning seriously. It said Saudi Arabia would bear responsibility for any consequences if its forces failed to intercept incoming attacks.
The warning followed an attack on Riyadh’s King Khalid International Airport on Saturday. Saudi civil aviation authorities reported 12 people killed and 309 injured.
