Israeli settlers give 47 Palestinian families in Ras al-Ahmar until Sunday evening to leave after a 27-day blockade of the West Bank community

Eastora News·

Forty-seven Palestinian families in Ras al-Ahmar, southeast of Tubas in the northern occupied West Bank, have been ordered to leave their homes by Sunday evening, Anadolu Agency reported. The ultimatum follows 27 days of blockade and road closures that have isolated the community.

During the encirclement, the Israeli military cut the community’s last remaining vehicular route with deep trenches and concrete barriers. In a September update, the UN’s humanitarian office reported that access restrictions had prevented 10 children in Ras al-Ahmar from attending school, while damage to a water pipeline disrupted supplies to about 47 households.
