Macron’s favorable rating hits 15%, its lowest since 2017, as Ipsos finds 82% of French respondents view his performance unfavorably

Eastora News·

French President Emmanuel Macron’s favorable rating has fallen to 15%, its lowest level since he took office in 2017, according to an Ipsos-BVA poll published by La Tribune Dimanche. The survey found that 82% of respondents had an unfavorable view of his performance.

The 15% figure was down one percentage point from the previous poll. Ipsos-BVA conducted the survey online on October 7 and 8 among 1,000 people aged 18 and older, selected to represent France’s adult population.

The poll measures respondents’ views of Macron’s performance as president. Macron has held the office since 2017.
