Netanyahu directs security chiefs to open criminal probe into everyone involved in NAZA film, including current and former Unit 8200 soldiers interviewed

Eastora News·

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has signed a letter directing the IDF chief, Shin Bet head and attorney general to open a criminal investigation into everyone involved in the film “NAZA,” according to the report. He is seeking an urgent inquiry into the serving and discharged Unit 8200 soldiers interviewed for the film.

The letter’s demand concerns both the film’s wider participants and the soldiers who appeared in it; the report does not say whether the three officials have acted on the directive.

NAZA features testimony from people presented as current or former Unit 8200 personnel about Israeli military operations in Gaza. The IDF has separately pursued a review into possible unauthorized disclosure of classified material connected to the film.
