Polish police received information about a possible attack targeting Prime Minister Donald Tusk and Defence Minister Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz, prompting senior officials to order action and convene an emergency security meeting on Sunday.

The alert came as Poland heightened security following three school attacks in the central Mazovia region within four days. The incidents left one person dead and several others wounded; authorities had not immediately disclosed the nature or origin of the reported plot.
