Turkish communications chief condemns attacks on Saudi civilians and airports, urges united international action to protect regional peace

Burhanettin Duran, head of communications for Türkiye’s presidency, condemned attacks in Saudi Arabia that targeted civilians and airports, causing deaths and injuries, and called for a united international response to protect regional peace.

Duran warned that such attacks seek to push the region into renewed conflict and chaos. He expressed condolences to the people of Saudi Arabia, prayed for those killed and wished the injured a swift recovery.

Saudi authorities said an attack on King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh on October 10 killed 12 people and injured 309.
