Marine Le Pen and Jean-Luc Mélenchon lead in all five French presidential scenarios tested, with poll projecting a 2027 runoff between them

Eastora News·

A new survey for French broadcasters M6 and RTL projects far-right National Rally leader Marine Le Pen and left-wing leader Jean-Luc Mélenchon into the runoff of France’s 2027 presidential election in every scenario tested.

The Toluna Harris Interactive poll’s sixth wave tested five candidate lineups and surveyed 2,000 people. Le Pen was projected to win 35% to 36% of first-round support in each scenario, while Mélenchon placed second. President Emmanuel Macron is serving his second term and cannot run again.
