Yemen’s Houthi-run health ministry says Saudi airstrikes killed one and wounded 12 in Sanaa, including a woman and three children

Eastora News·

Airstrikes blamed on Saudi Arabia killed a man and wounded 12 people in Yemen’s capital overnight, according to the Houthi-run Health Ministry. Saudi Arabia had not immediately commented, the Associated Press reported.

Ministry spokesman Anees al-Asbahi said one strike hit a salt factory in the Hamdan district, killing a man and injuring eight people. A separate strike on a house wounded a woman and three children, he said.

The strikes came amid a sharp increase in Houthi attacks on Saudi Arabia. A missile strike on Riyadh’s King Khalid International Airport on October 10 killed 12 people and wounded more than 300, Saudi officials said.
