Zelensky offers to halt strikes on Russian energy sites if Moscow stops attacking Ukraine, calling Trump’s proposed truce “a good first step”

Eastora News·

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy told Fox News on Monday that Kyiv would immediately stop striking Russian refineries and other energy facilities if Moscow halted attacks on Ukraine’s energy infrastructure. He called the energy ceasefire proposed by U.S. President Donald Trump “a good first step,” but questioned whether Russian President Vladimir Putin would reciprocate.

Trump made a similar announcement about a halt to energy strikes in September, but it did not lead to a ceasefire, according to the Associated Press.
