Passengers were evacuated from a Delta Air Lines flight from New York after it landed at Ben Gurion Airport on Tuesday, following an anonymous warning of a bomb aboard the aircraft, Israeli media reported. Yedioth Ahronoth said the warning’s credibility had not been established while security personnel searched the plane.
The aircraft was moved to an isolated area for inspection. The Israel Airports Authority later said the search found no unusual items and that airport operations had returned to normal.
