Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty urged an immediate end to attacks targeting Saudi Arabia in a phone call Tuesday with Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, saying they had “no justification” and could not be accepted, according to Egypt’s Foreign Ministry.
Türkiye, Egypt, Pakistan and Saudi Arabia issued a joint statement condemning the attacks and expressing support for Riyadh. The statement followed a Houthi attack on King Khalid International Airport that killed 13 people and injured 309, according to Saudi authorities.
