Houthis say Saudi-led coalition launched 104 air and missile strikes across Yemen in 24 hours
Yemen's Houthis said Tuesday that Saudi forces carried out 104 air and missile strikes over the past 24 hours across Sanaa and the governorates of Dhamar, Taiz, Amran, Lahj, Al-Jawf, Marib, Saada and Hodeidah.
Houthi military spokesman Yahya Saree said the strikes caused civilian deaths and injuries. The casualty claim could not be independently verified.
Saree said F-15 and Typhoon fighter jets involved in the attacks took off from air bases in Khamis Mushait and Taif, while missiles were launched from Najran.
He said the latest attacks brought the total number of Saudi air and missile strikes since the current escalation began to 2,281.
The Saudi-led coalition also carried out strikes on Houthi-controlled Sanaa on Tuesday, including an attack on fuel facilities that the coalition said were being used to store missiles and drones.
