U.S. President Donald Trump said Tuesday that Iran is a "failed country" and that Washington will make a decision on Tehran "very soon."
"Iran is a failed country. They have no economy. They have 300 percent inflation. They have no money," Trump told reporters.
He added that Iran is not paying its troops or "anybody."
Trump did not say what decision the United States was considering or provide further details.
His remarks came amid renewed regional tensions involving Iran and the Houthis, as Washington weighs its next steps toward Tehran.
