Jordan’s and Saudi Arabia’s foreign ministries condemned Colombia’s opening of an embassy in West Jerusalem, saying it violates international law. Jordan also said the move undermines Jerusalem’s legal and historical status.
The Palestinian Foreign Ministry said the diplomatic mission was relocated to Tel Aviv in 1980 and returned to the occupied city 46 years later.
