Kremlin says it is "carefully" watching for signs of a shift in U.S. support for Ukraine
The Kremlin said Wednesday it is "carefully" monitoring signs that Washington's support for Ukraine may be changing, after Kyiv complained of missing advance warnings about Russian ballistic missile launches and reported new restrictions on Starlink terminals.
"We are carefully noting all this. It is too early to draw any systemic conclusions," Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters.
Peskov said there was "a lot of information" suggesting some restrictions may have been introduced on intelligence sharing and early-warning data about Russian missile launches, but noted that Washington has also said its assistance to Ukraine is continuing.
He said Moscow had no official information confirming the reported Starlink restrictions and urged against drawing conclusions until more concrete details emerge.
Ukraine said this week it received no advance warning from Western partners before recent Russian ballistic missile attacks on Kyiv. Ukrainian officials also said SpaceX had introduced new speed-related restrictions on military-grade Starlink service without warning, disrupting some drone missions.
