Poland's Sikorski warns Musk over Starlink restrictions in Ukraine, asks if he is "playing politics" again
Polish Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski publicly challenged Elon Musk on Wednesday after reports that SpaceX had imposed new restrictions on Starlink terminals used by Ukrainian forces.
"Hey, @elonmusk, big man, are you playing politics with your products again?" Sikorski wrote on X. "As your European customers, we are watching you."
Poland finances more than 29,000 Starlink terminals used in Ukraine. Ukrainian officials said new speed-related restrictions on Starlink disrupted military drone missions and were introduced without warning.
The comments revived a longstanding dispute between Sikorski and Musk over Starlink's role in Ukraine. In 2025, Musk told Sikorski to "be quiet, small man" during an earlier clash over the service.
SpaceX has not publicly explained the latest restrictions.
