Saudi Aramco’s headquarters in Dhahran sustained extensive damage in Tuesday’s attack, with a fire spreading across several floors, three sources with direct knowledge of the incident told Reuters. The fire began on the ninth floor of the complex’s south wing and spread between the sixth and tenth floors.
A separate source told Reuters that the upper three floors, including the area containing CEO Amin Nasser’s office, were severely damaged. Sections of the ceiling collapsed, and windows and doors were blown out. The fire continued burning into early Wednesday.
