Senior Ukrainian official accuses U.S. of helping Russia by withholding strike warnings and limiting Starlink
A senior Ukrainian official accused the United States of helping Russia in its war against Ukraine, blaming Washington for failing to provide advance warning of incoming Russian missile attacks and for restrictions affecting Starlink service.
"The United States is helping Russia in this war," the official told AFP, speaking on condition of anonymity.
Ukraine has complained that recent Russian ballistic missile attacks on Kyiv arrived without the advance intelligence warnings it normally receives from Western partners. A U.S. official said Washington had not changed its intelligence-sharing policy with Kyiv.
Separately, Ukrainian officials said new restrictions on SpaceX's Starlink service have disrupted military drone operations, with terminals experiencing interruptions at higher speeds. SpaceX has not publicly explained the change.
The accusations come amid worsening tensions between Kyiv and Washington over intelligence cooperation, pressure on Ukraine to halt strikes on Russian energy infrastructure and President Donald Trump's broader approach to the war.
