U.S. President Donald Trump issued a fresh threat against Iran during a campaign rally in Alaska on Tuesday, telling supporters to “wait till you see what we do to Iran.”
“We’re going to do a number,” Trump said. “We’ve sort of had it. You know, we’ve had it.”
Trump did not specify what action he was considering or provide a timeline.
He also repeated that Iran would not be allowed to obtain a nuclear weapon and said its nuclear capabilities were “buried under thousands of tons of rock,” referring to previous U.S. strikes on Iranian nuclear facilities.
The remarks come as Trump weighs whether to resume major military operations against Iran, with U.S. officials saying no final decision has been made.
