Türkiye and Spain to develop joint Hurjet trainer after Spanish air force selection, with later deliveries incorporating Spanish components and certification

Türkiye and Spain will develop a joint version of the Hurjet trainer following its selection for Spain’s air force, Turkish Defence Industries Secretary Haluk Gorgun announced in Ankara. He spoke at the opening of the Ida Türkiye Defence and Aerospace Industrial Cooperation Days and called Spain’s selection the most prominent example of cooperation between the two countries.
