U.S. Central Command said American forces destroyed an Iranian-linked dhow in the Gulf of Oman on October 6, alleging the vessel had conducted surveillance and helped Iran target U.S. Navy warships.
CENTCOM said the crew was safely evacuated before the dhow was destroyed. Efforts are underway to repatriate them.
