Ten vessels have been targeted in or near the Strait of Hormuz since Sunday, the highest number recorded over such a period since the war on Iran began, AFP reported.
Data from security firm Vanguard, the International Maritime Organization and the UK Maritime Trade Operations showed that six vessels were targeted on Sunday—the highest single-day total since the United States and Israel launched the war on Iran. Four more were targeted on Tuesday.
The number of recorded attacks since the start of October has reached 23, nearly double the monthly average since the war began.
